RULES & CANCELLATION POLICY
COURT reservation:
Court reservations and cancellation fees are the responsibility of the person who booked the court reservation.
The person who makes the reservation must be present or authorize a representative.
Reservations are highly encouraged in order to ensure that you have a court and enough time for your party to play when you arrive.
If your group has MORE people than you reserved for, your group must pay for EVERYONE ENTERS COURT. You can UPDATE the number of players at least 24 hours before your reservation to ensure you have extra time to accommodate your additional players.
If your group has LESS people than you reserved for, your group must pay for the missing players. We will not honor less player with less court time. You can UPDATE the number of players at least 24 hours before your reservation.
We DO NOT ALLOW any guests on the courts side. Anyone enter the gym area, will consider as PLAYER, must PAY first before enter, Or must stay in resting area, away from the gym floor.
Court reservations are intended for gameplay only and may not be used for a private practice (multi-shuttles, feeding, etc).
More than 24Hrs. prior to your reservation schedule, you can cancel/change from your email link ( the confirmation email has link valid till 24hrs. prior to your schedule ). You can cancel at no cost.
Less than 24Hrs. prior to your reservation schedule, you CAN NOT cancel/change schedule from your email any longer. You must contact: 646-271-3228 by text messaging:
Less than 24Hrs, but more than 2Hrs. prior to your reservation schedule = 50% charge of your reservation.
Less than 2Hrs. prior to your reservation schedule = 100% charge of your reservation.
Any emergency request for cancellation, we reserve the rights to request prompt explanation and prove in order to waive the late cancellaion charge.
Cancellation policy:

RACKET RENTAL: $7/each for Flushing $8/each for Manhattan
If the string is broken, there is an additional $5 fee
If the racket is broken, there is an additional $50 fee
SHOE RENTAL: $5/pair
EquipmenT rental policy:
In order to preserve the Badminton Court surface, all players must either wear Badminton shoes or Non-marking sports shoes. We have limited rental badminton shoes available. Any delay or cancelation charge due to inappropriate footwear will be custiomers’ full responsibility.
Shirts must always be worn on and off the court.
dress code:
It is the responsibility of each individual to assess their physical condition, avoid excessive or unsafe exercise, and take responsibility for their own health and safety. Participation in this sport is not recommended for customers with serious illnesses (e.g., epilepsy, heart disease) or those recovering from severe illness or injury.
Smoking, vaping, and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited within the NYBC. Food can only be enjoyed in designated seating areas.
Security cameras operate within all NY Badminton center/courts/facilities. Entrants acknowledge that they may be filmed. NYBC management is committed to protecting your privacy. We only store information related to bookings and billing. This information is accessible only to NYBC management, and we will never share your personal information with third parties.
Entrants must always behave appropriately and follow the lawful directions of NY Badminton Center. Derogative comments, abusive language and inappropriate or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. No rude or inappropriate behaviour towards NYBC staff or other customers is permitted.
The courts are primarily for badminton games, training, and coaching. NYBC owns all advertising spaces within the NYBC facility. No form of advertising is allowed in the venue without the NYBC's consent, including all commercial advertisements during events, which the NYBC must approve in advance.
Customers are solely responsible for their property. NYBC does not assume liability for theft, loss, or damage to any property within NYBC premises.
If an entrant causes any damage to NYBC property/facilities/equipment they will be held responsible for all costs associated with replacement or repairs whichever is decided by NYBC .
NYBC reserves the right to refuse entry to any person or remove any person from its courts/facility.
